As an AutoCAD Designer/Design Technician, you will be located in our Kings Hill office, based in Kent.

What you’ll be doing – As part of the design team you will play a critical role in the success of the company and be a key driver of customer satisfaction. The role involves using computer-aided design software to produce detailed design layouts, technical building diagrams and quotations for domestic and residential projects.
Here's a more detailed list to give you a flavour:
· Drafting layouts and preparing quotations for residential and domestic projects on Autodesk AutoCAD.
· Creation of 2D CAD drawings to meet the specification and project requirements in line with relevant British Standards.
· Maintaining a continuous understanding of our pricing schedule to ensure accurate distribution of quotations in a timely manner to maintain our reputation for having a fast turnaround time.
· Keeping up to date with regular training on our products and installation process to ensure all customer questions can be answered correctly.
· Keeping up to date with knowledge of product standards.
· Keeping customers updated throughout their project and ensuring they receive excellent customer service.
· Liaising with the operational team regarding projects.· Liaising with building control regarding project regulations.
· Utilising the CRM system to keep all customer and project information updated.· Working towards monthly KPI’s.
· Compiling monthly/weekly reports for the Design Manager.
You’re likely to succeed if you can tick some of these boxes:
· Experience working in Construction.
· Certificate in 2D computer-aided design (Autodesk Certified User); Desirable· Certificate in computer-aided design and manufacturing; Desirable
· Certificate in computer-aided design parametric modelling; Desirable
· 1-2 years’ experience working with AutoCAD. Desirable
· Experience working in a close-knit and supportive team. Desirable
· Understanding of Sprinkler or Watermist systems. Desirable
· Knowledge of BS8458 / BS9251 / BS EN 14972 series advantageous but not essential.
