Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. This is an early starting between 4 am and 5 am. The ideal candidate will deliver fresh and frozen seafood to our valued customers in restaurants, pubs and hotels. Completing 20-30 deliveries around the Northwest to regular customer base.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.
Working any 5 days from 6 Monday to Saturday week 1 with a rota day off. Week 2 is 6 days Monday to Saturday inclusive.

Duties
- Drive a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations efficiently and safely.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products during transport.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- A valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is an advantage.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- A reliable work ethic with a commitment to providing excellent service.
