Fairways Sportsgrounds– Installation Supervisor/ Travelling foreman
The Installation supervisor will oversee and coordinate the successful delivery of artificial turf installation projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves managing onsite operations, supporting installation teams, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and helping drive profitability through effective site management and reduced wastage.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all installations are carried out to the required company and industry standards
- Monitor onsite processes and adapt methods where necessary to maintain quality and efficiency
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Identify potential issues early and implement solutions to minimise delays or disruption
- Carry out pre-installation site visits and assessments
- Liaise with site staff and assist in resolving concerns or operational problems
- Provide hands-on installation support when required, including covering staff absence or holidays
- Carry out site measurements for valuations, quotations, and material ordering
- Act as the main onsite contact for clients and maintain professional communication
- Support efficient workflow and productivity across installation teams
- Assist in developing staff skills and support recruitment of new team members
- Carry out ad hoc repairs and remedial works when required
- Complete snagging works to ensure projects are signed off to a high standard
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure high levels of workmanship are maintained

Requirements
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or artificial turf installation management preferred
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage teams and communicate effectively with clients and subcontractors
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Willingness to work away from home when required

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
