Lecturer – Acting (Drama)
Fixed Term – August 2027
Part Time, 10 Hours per week
Salary: £41,838 - £50,359 per annum (candidates holding TQFE will commence at £48,227 per annum)
As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work and guidance activity where required.
As a member of the Drama department you will deliver Higher National level SQA Acting & Performance units to a diverse range of students. Ideally you will have the ability to teach using digital platforms as well as the ability to contribute to teaching across the Acting & Performance curriculum. You should be confident in the principles of acting, voice and movement and have experience in devising and directing.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or above in Acting or Performing Arts along with relevant industry experience. You will have broad demonstrable knowledge and experience in acting or the arts and the ability to deliver a range of lessons to a wide range of student.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in teaching and directing.
