Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours and an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in commercial cleaning work is preferred, training will be provided. Successful Candidate must have own car.
Duties
- Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial spaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is required.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is desirable
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
