The Role
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a key role in preparing, cooking, and delivering our signature smashburgers and sides to the highest standards from our food trailer. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to keep service running smoothly while maintaining excellent food quality, hygiene, and customer interaction.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Communicating with customers, taking orders and supporting the cook.
- Assist with food prep, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient and smooth service
- Keep up to date with menu changes, new products, and promotions
- Support kitchen operations and step into different roles when needed
- Engage positively with customers when required — great food + great vibes
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a kitchen or fast-paced food environment (preferred but not essential)
- Passion for food and pride in delivering quality every time
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Someone who can bring energy and personality to the team
