Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Service
- Assist with basic food preparation under direction of the Catering Manager or Cook.
- Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring portion control and presentation standards.
- Set up and clear down service areas, counters, and dining spaces.
- Cash handling
- Able to cook Breakfast items
Customer Service
- Provide friendly, helpful and professional service at all times.
- Respond to customer requests and dietary needs appropriately.
Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Follow food safety procedures, including temperature checks, allergen protocols, and HACCP guidelines..
Operational Support
- Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and tills (training provided).
- Work flexibly to support the wider catering team during busy periods.
Skills & Experience Essential
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene (training can be provided).
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
