Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical experience?
Looking for a role where you can diagnose, repair, and progress your career—not just replace parts?
We’re looking for a capable and motivated engineer to join our service team. This is a field-based role covering the Midlands and North, supporting both our domestic and commercial clients repairing domestic white goods and commercial laundry equipment and other products within our portfolio.
This is more than a standard service role, you’ll be trusted to make decisions, solve problems on-site, and deliver high quality repairs, with opportunities to develop into more advanced commercial systems.

The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:
- Service and repair a range of domestic and commercial appliances and along with other products within our portfolio
- Diagnose faults across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
- Carry out first-time fixes wherever possible
- Attend jobs across the North West, operating from our Wigan service centre
- Manage your daily workload and service schedule efficiently
- Maintain and control van stock (spares) to maximise first-time fix rates
- Deliver excellent customer service on-site
- Work on additional equipment across our wider product range as required
Location
Ideally, you will live within approximately a 30-minute commute of our Wigan service centre, as this will be your base for covering the North West regions.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
- Background as a Field Service Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Appliance Engineer
- Confident in diagnostics, not just part replacement
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site
- Good customer-facing skills and professional attitude
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in appliance repair
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
This role is ideal for an engineer looking to move into a more technical, diagnostic, and progressive position.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- 2 week rota:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday
- Week 2: Monday to Saturday (with a day off during the week)
