Stores Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunity (Immediate Start)
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Stores Operative to join a well-established engineering company based in Newtown. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:00
- Friday: 07:30 – 12:30
- Total: 37 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing components to create kits for the assembly team
- Assisting with the receipt, checking, and storage of deliveries
- Carrying out general stores, stock control, and inventory duties
- Manual handling of materials and products
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Supporting the wider production and stores teams as required
Requirements
- Previous stores, warehouse, logistics, or stock control experience is advantageous
- Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Available to start immediately
