The Warmer Group Ltd have opened up an opportunity to join a well-established and reputable insulation company. We are ideally looking for an experienced Cavity Wall Extraction Technician.
Your primary role will be to attend domestic properties around the South to remove cavity wall insulation adhering to all technical specifications to a very high standard and in line with BBA requirements. We cover Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire and West Sussex. You must be able to travel to our Ferndown offices every day.
What does the job role involve?
- To install loft insulation to private domestic and commercial properties
- All materials and equipment are checked, used safely and removed from site correctly.
- Ensure the working site is set up safely.
- Check all ladders, harnesses and yokes are fit for use.
- Ensure vehicle is fit for use/carry out daily vehicle checks.
- Communicate and liaise with customer on site.
- All quality checks are completed for each job.
- All paperwork is completed fully per job.
- Ensure that correct PPE is used at all times.
- Carry out pre-user checks on equipment.
- Carry out quality checks p/property.
- Carry out Pre/Post Extraction checks.
As and when considered necessary or appropriate you may be asked to undertake other additional duties and responsibilities within reason in order to meet business requirements.
What makes the ideal candidate?
The minimum qualifications or knowledge that should be held for this role are:
- Full UK Driver’s License
- Experience in cavity wall insulation/removal isn't necessary but preferable.

- Able to deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues in their team.
- Must have the drive to ensure that H&S and Quality legalities and standards are maintained and where possible improved, through strict adherence to internal and external policies, procedures and standards.
- Motivated to learn and continually develop expertise.
- Able to demonstrate commitment and drive at the same time as flexibility.
- Must be able to work away from home Monday-Friday when required.
