360 Excavator Operator – Gloucester
We are currently recruiting for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join our team working on residential, commercial, and civil engineering projects across Gloucester and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable operator who takes pride in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality work. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various sizes of excavators and supporting site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently on-site.
- Carry out all aspects of excavation work, including foundations, drainage, grading, and trenching.
- Perform muck shifting, loading vehicles, and material handling.
- Work around live services and follow utility plans where required.
- Assist with lifting operations where suitably qualified.
- Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on plant machinery.
- Ensure machinery is operated in accordance with site rules and health & safety regulations.
- Work closely with site managers, groundworkers, and other trades.
- Report any defects, incidents, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements Essential
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Card with 360 Excavator endorsement.
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators on construction or civil engineering projects.
- Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
Desirable
- Lifting Operations endorsement.
- Experience in drainage and groundworks.
- Confined Spaces certification.
- Safety Critical Medical.
- Experience working on residential housing developments and infrastructure projects.
Pay: £22.00 per hour
