Create Homes. Build Community. Make Things Better.
We're not a traditional property business.
We look after high-quality homes for local landlords and believe that where you live should feel like more than just four walls. We care deeply about the experience our housemates have and are passionate about creating homes and communities people genuinely enjoy being part of.
We're looking for someone who shares that vision.
Not necessarily someone with years of industry experience, but someone with the right values, a desire to learn, and the ability to take ownership and make things happen.
This varied role suits someone who loves people, thrives on organisation, enjoys solving problems and wants to play a meaningful part in a growing business.
The Opportunity
This isn't a traditional 9-5 role, and no two days are ever the same.
One day you might be helping welcome new housemates, another you could be organising a summer social, building relationships within the local community, improving a process, creating social media content, solving a challenge, or coordinating projects behind the scenes.
You'll become a central part of the business, helping ensure our homes, housemates and operations run smoothly whilst continually looking for ways to improve and grow.
You'll have some flexibility to organise your own week and manage your time effectively, but you'll also understand that homes and people don't always operate between office hours. Flexibility and responsiveness are important, and occasional evenings or weekends may be required.
What You'll Help Us Do
You'll play a key role in helping us:
- Managing homes people love living in and experiences that housemates remember.
- Build strong relationships with the housemates and local businesses.
- Maintain high standards and coordinate the many moving parts that keep everything running smoothly.
- Support the growth of the business through relationship building, communication and creative ideas.
- Bring people together through events, community initiatives and content creation.
- Continuously improve systems, processes and the way we do things.
- Protect the reputation of the business by ensuring things are done properly, professionally and with care.
- Take ownership and treat the homes as if they were your own.
Who Will Thrive In This Role?
You'll probably love this role if you:
- Naturally put people first.
- Enjoy variety and don't want every day to look the same.
- Love being organised and bringing order to busy environments.
- Take pride in doing things properly.
- Enjoy learning new systems and technologies.
- Are proactive and don't wait to be told what to do.
- Enjoy building relationships and bringing people together.
- Can communicate confidently and professionally.
- Are adaptable and comfortable wearing many hats.
- Enjoy being part of a team and supporting others.
- Have good judgement and understand that details matter.
Our Values
People First - We genuinely care about our housemates, our landlords and each other. We believe kindness, communication and doing the right thing matter.
Ownership - We treat the homes, and housemates as if they were our own. We take responsibility, follow things through and care about the outcome.
Growth Mindset - We're always learning, improving and embracing better ways of doing things.
Community - We believe people thrive when they feel welcomed, connected and valued.
Initiative - We don't wait to be told. We solve problems, take action and make things happen.
Excellence In The Details - Little things matter. Doing things properly matters. Trust is built through consistency, reliability and care.
Growing With Us
We're a growing business with ambitious plans for the future, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of that journey.
Whilst the role may begin with a smaller number of hours, we expect both our portfolio and our team to continue growing over the coming years. As that happens, there will be opportunities for increased responsibility, additional hours and the chance to help shape the future of the business.
We're not simply looking for someone to fill a position. We're looking for someone who wants to build something with us.
Over time, you may find yourself taking ownership of projects, helping develop new systems and processes, mentoring future team members, and playing an increasingly important role within the wider team.
Experience required?
Not essential.
What we're really looking for is someone with curiosity, integrity, initiative and a genuine desire to make a difference.
This role combines elements of operations, customer experience, marketing, administration, project coordination, relationship building and community management.
If you enjoy variety, love making things better and want to help build something special, we'd love to hear from you.
