Job role: Operations Coordinator

Hours: 8am-4pm

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse, production, and customer service operations. This is a varied and hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will act as a key link between departments, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate stock management, timely production scheduling, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support stock control processes, cycle counts, and stock investigations.
- Ensure warehouse documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Assist with maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.
Production Coordination
- Support production planning and scheduling to meet customer deadlines.
- Liaise with production teams to monitor progress and resolve operational issues.
- Track orders through the production process and provide status updates.
- Assist with resource planning and material availability.
- Ensure production records and reports are maintained accurately.
Customer Service
- Manage customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate order information.
- Provide customers with updates regarding order status, deliveries, and lead times.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an operations, logistics, warehouse, production, or customer service coordination role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or warehouse management systems would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
