Job Summary
Lush Mechanical are a busy Plumbing and Heating company working on New Build sites across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.
We are now recruiting Trainee Plumbers to complete 'on the job training' in all aspects of New Build Plumbing and Heating.
All training will be funded by Lush Mechanical
You will be expected to work through our training folder which we will issue too you, this will be completed mainly on site and you will also need to attend training sessions at our newly built training centre. You will need to attend collage for any final exams or specific courses.
By the end of the training period, which will usually last between 2.5 and 3 years (but this is dependent on an individual’s ability), you will have achieved an NVQ level 2 or equivalent, a BPEC or equivalent in Unvented Hot Water Cylinders and a certificate in Air Source Heat Pumps.
This role will suit applicants who already have their level 1 or 2 Plumbing Diploma, however this position is open to applicants without the diploma, but the training time will need to be extended to accommodate this.
Lush Mechanical have a great track record in delivering training and 90% of our current team have either completed an apprenticeship or a trainee plumber role with us.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of plumbing principles or relevant experience is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools is preferred
- Valid driving licence is mandatory
