Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Joiners Mate to support our construction and carpentry teams. This role involves assisting with various aspects of joinery, fabrication, and general building tasks on-site. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills within the construction industry. Duties
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of timber and other materials using hand tools and power tools
- Support the installation of joinery components, including doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning and organising tools and materials before commencing tasks
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Support the team with general construction duties such as measuring, cutting, and fitting materials
