Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Indepedent Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to high standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is in good working order
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Interact courteously with clients and staff, providing excellent customer service when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for roles involving travel between sites.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
This job will include cleaning domestic homes, our services, accommodations, and HMOs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
