Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (Overtime x1.5)

About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and diagnose faults on construction and plant machinery. This is a field-based role supported by a depot team, ongoing technical training, and strong engineering backup.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Field-based diagnostics, repair, and servicing of plant equipment
- Attending breakdowns and performing fault-finding
- Using digital tools for job cards and timekeeping
- Collaborating with service supervisors and parts teams
- Ordering parts accurately and keeping machines compliant
- Mentoring apprentices or junior engineers (as required)
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in plant machinery maintenance (preferred but not essential)
- Competence in diagnostics and fault-finding
- Strong customer-facing skills and time management
- Full UK Driving Licence
