Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Assistant, your duties will include:
- Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the guidance of the chef or kitchen supervisor
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas
- Ensuring ingredients are stocked, stored, and rotated properly
- Following recipes and portion control guidelines
- Supporting team members during busy service periods
- Complying with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required

Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
