Salhan Accountants are an award winning firm of accountants and is looking to add an Assistant Accountant to its dynamic team at Birmingham offices. This business offers excellent long-term progression opportunities for ambitious individuals that are looking to pursue a career within finance.
Duties include the preparation of statutory and management accounts from primary records in accordance with GAAP, posting and filing the same with the relevant authorities. As part of the role you will be required to process purchase ledger and sales ledger entries, performing bank reconciliations, payroll duties, posting journals, preparing the fixed asset register, performing accruals and prepayments, preparing VAT returns and tax computations and anything else which is required for this role.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience either in practice or industry and be able to complete tasks with limited supervision. We will also accept applications from candidates with 1 or 2 years experience in Industry or in a practice.

Pay: £25,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
