On Target Magazines Ltd is looking for a motivated Freelance Media Sales Executive to help grow advertising sales across our expanding portfolio of local lifestyle magazines.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven individual who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and helping local companies promote themselves through trusted community publications.
The Role
You will be responsible for selling advertising space across our range of local magazines.
Your duties may include:
- Proactively identifying and contacting potential advertisers
- Generating new business leads and developing client relationships
- Selling print and digital advertising packages
- Managing your own sales pipeline and follow-ups
- Working towards agreed sales targets and revenue goals
- Building long-term relationships with local businesses
- Liaising with clients regarding artwork deadlines, campaigns and advertising opportunities
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in sales, advertising sales especially media sales
- Confident, persuasive and commercially minded
- Self-motivated and organised
- Comfortable working independently from home
- Strong communicator with excellent people skills
- Familiar with CRM systems, email and online communication tools
Knowledge of print, publishing, advertising or local business markets is advantageous.

Working Arrangement
This position is offered on a freelance / self-employed contractor basis.
Please note:
- This is not an employed PAYE role.
- Freelancers are responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, pension arrangements and business expenses.
- You will be required to provide your own equipment, including computer/laptop, phone and reliable internet connection.
- Working hours are flexible and managed independently by the successful applicant.
Earnings
Monthly freelance retainer plus commission on advertising sales.
