Building Manager (Residential)
Bournemouth & Southampton
£13–£15 per hour (or pro rata salary)
Approximately 30-40 hours per week (some flexible working available if you need slightly reduced hours)
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of two residential buildings comprising approximately 120 units in Bournemouth & a second similar building in Southampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining practical maintenance coordination with tenant-facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing repairs and maintenance issues
- Acting as the first point of contact for tenants and residents
- Ensuring the building is well-maintained, safe, and presentable
- Liaising with contractors and overseeing works on site
- Conducting property viewings for prospective tenants
- Handling general administrative duties related to the building
- Supporting a positive and professional community environment
About You
- Previous experience in property is desired
- Strong communication and people skills
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Comfortable dealing with maintenance issues and coordinating repairs
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the role
- Flexible and approachable attitude
