Early Years Practitioner - Level 2 or 3 qualified - term time only.
Breadsall Preschool is situated in the heart of Breadsall Village, Derby.
We are a term time only setting, providing a fun, friendly and exciting environment for 2-4 year olds and we are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our small and friendly team.
The hours of work will be a minimum of 16.30 hours on a Friday morning from 8:45am to
12:15pm, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:45am to 15:15pm, term time only. We will review extra hours depending on demand.
Essential criteria:
A full and relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Recent experience of working with children
A sense of humour, ability to make playdough and sing lots of songs!
Desirable criteria:
Ideally you must also have knowledge of the early years statutory framework,
safeguarding and undertaken child observations and assessments.
Experience of supporting children with SEN.
Paediatric first aid is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Start date - September 2026

Interviews will be held week commencing the 22nd June 2026.
