Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Milk Delivery Person to join our team for a once-weekly shift on Mondays. This role involves delivering fresh milk to a variety of schools and businesses.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable handling physical tasks such as heavy lifting. This position offers an opportunity to work within a friendly team environment, contributing to our commitment to quality service.
Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, to distribute milk and dairy products to designated customers.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Load and unload products, including heavy items.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Complete relevant paperwork or digital logs for each delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Skills
- Previous experience as a delivery driver not essential.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong driving skills with a good understanding of road safety regulations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Organised with good time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing and walking during deliveries across various locations.
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
