Warehouse Operative
KRD Catering Equipments Ltd is hiring full-time Warehouse Operatives for our new warehouse in Weedon, Northampton.
We supply commercial catering equipment across the UK and are looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our warehouse team.
This is a hands-on warehouse role. The work involves unloading deliveries, moving stock, picking and packing orders, preparing pallet shipments, keeping the warehouse organised and helping the team ship orders on time.
Main responsibilities:
- Unload deliveries, containers and lorries
- Check goods received against paperwork
- Move stock into the correct warehouse locations
- Pick and pack customer orders
- Prepare pallet orders for dispatch
- Replenish fast-moving stock from bulk racking
- Keep aisles, packing areas and goods-in areas clean and clear
- Help with stock checks and cycle counts
- Use pallet trucks and warehouse equipment safely
- Follow instructions from the warehouse supervisor/manager
What success looks like:
- Orders picked and packed accurately
- Deliveries received and put away quickly
- Warehouse locations kept accurate
- No blocked aisles or unsafe stacking
- Clean, organised and efficient work area
- Good attendance, attitude and reliability
Requirements:
- Warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to follow instructions properly
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working
- Good attention to detail
- Forklift licence is a bonus but not required
- Comfortable using simple warehouse systems or scanners

Monday to Friday, with overtime available when required
Trial shifts may be offered before a permanent position is confirmed.
