Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit flexible experienced female brain injury support workers to support our client. Our client is a female; she is 28 years old and lives with her parents.
Our client lives in Earls Colne, and you will be working on 2:1 basis. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance her independence, daily structure, respecting boundaries, wellbeing and community engagement. Our client is looking for someone cheerful and confident to accompany her outdoors for activities. The client attends a weekly horse-riding lesson where you will be required to observe her performance and provide feedback. Our client loves swimming, animals (family have a cat), attending concerts.
Due to the client needs we are seeking for energetic and active females only, who can drive and have experience driving automatic WAV. Some weekends and evening will be required, but you will be given plenty of notice.
Hours
2 Shifts per week - Mon – Fri - 08.00-16.30 (Some weekends and evening will be required, but you will be given plenty of notice.)
Pay
Mon – Fri - £17 p/h
Sat - £18.50 p/h
Sun - £20 p/h
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client, ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
- Assist service users attend health activities.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Experience
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care during the day.
- The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
