Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and creative Digital Marketing and Social Media Assistant to support our marketing team. Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media accounts to engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interaction.
- Support the development of digital marketing campaigns aligned with organisational goals.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all online platforms.
- Track and analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Contribute to public relations activities by drafting press releases and coordinating media outreach efforts.
- Conduct research on current social media trends and best practices to optimise content strategies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous experience or strong interest in social media management and digital marketing is desirable.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.
- Knowledge of public relations principles and experience in managing online communities is advantageous.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is a plus.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and branding consistency.
- Basic understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics or platform-specific insights is beneficial.
