Role: Senior Residential Care Worker
Salary: £14.50 per hour + £60 per sleep in

Standby Healthcare are recruiting for a Senior Residential Care Worker in St Helens, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an established organisation supporting Children in a Residential Home. Due to company growth, they are expanding their fantastic team who are dedicated to providing support their residents and provide the best care. You will have support from an experienced senior management team.

Role responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, nurturing, trauma‑informed care to children with complex emotional, social, or behavioural needs (EBD/SEMH)
- Build trusting, stable relationships that support children’s emotional regulation, resilience, development and independence.
- Support personal care needs where appropriate, ensuring dignity and sensitivity
- Lead and coordinate shifts, ensuring the home operates safely and effectively
- Take key‑worker responsibility for allocated children, delivering planned interventions and tracking progress.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, daily records, and statutory documentation.
To be successful you will:
- Previous experience as a Senior Residential Care worker in a Children's Residential setting
- Full UK Driving License and access to own vehicle
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
