Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are tidy, organised, and welcoming. This role is crucial in providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both staff and visitors. Hours will be 2 shifts. One on a Thursday evening any time after 6.30pm or Friday morning to finish by 8 am and Sunday evening any time after 4pm or Monday morning to finish by 8am. Both shifts will be 2.5 -3 hours.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Dispose of waste appropriately.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly and maintained in good condition.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
