We are looking for a conscientious and hard-working individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. You will be joining a supportive team where your contribution genuinely matters.
You will be required to work approximately 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4pm (there may be some flexibility on start times).
The role will be responsible for:
- Carrying out thorough cleaning of offices, communal areas, restaurant, gym and changing rooms to a consistently high standard.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising all areas in line with agreed schedules and procedures.
- Replenishing consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue as required.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns promptly to the appropriate person.
- Handling and correctly storing cleaning materials and equipment in accordance with COSHH guidelines.
Do you have what it takes?
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- At least 2 years experience of cleaning within a commercial setting (e.g. offices, schools, retail premises, or similar).
- A good understanding of hygiene standards and safe working practices.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks to schedule.
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Flexibility to work across different areas of the premises as required.
