Know How Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Combi Driver on behalf of a well-established manufacturing client. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with the potential for a pay increase after a successful probation period.
Pay:
- Starting rate: 13.60
- Pay increase after 2–4 weeks subject to performance
Shift Pattern (Rotating Weekly):
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 10:00pm
- Occasional Saturdays: 6:00am – 12:00pm
Flexibility to work both shifts is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating an M3 Combi truck
- Loading and unloading wagons
- Handling long loads (7 metres+)
- Supporting yard and dispatch operations
- Working safely within a busy manufacturing environment
- Assisting crane loading where required
Requirements:
- Valid and in-date Combi / M3 licence
- Experience handling long or oversized loads
- Confident working with large materials
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience operating an overhead crane with attachments (training can be provided)
