Multi-Skilled Fabric Engineer – Newton Abbot / Exeter
Little & Cull are a BRC Accredited leading supplier of premium chilled, frozen and prepared foods with two sites located on Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter and Heathfield Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Fabric Engineer to support the Maintenance team with all fabric repair / installation requirements across both sites
We are looking for someone with;
· Relevant industry recognised qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
- Good organisational skills
- A willingness to complete all maintenance tasks however minor
- The ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the business
- The ability to work under own initiative and continuously improve areas within the factory
When you join the team you’ll be ready to work in a fast paced environment that involves responsibility for;
· Continuous improvement of all associated fabric works within the factories
· Silicone throughout the factories
· Installation of custom metal work to walls and floors
· Installing a wide range of equipment such as dispensers to walls and ceilings
· Carpentry works
· Painting and decorating
· Floor coverings including resin flooring and curbing
· Assisting in further development and improvement of both sites
· Supporting and assisting as required with general site maintenance tasks such as building furniture, building/site repairs
· Fridge panel installation and modification and all associated fridge panel trims
· Repairs and installing new door handles / hinges / frames
· Minor plumbing works
You’ll be required to work across both sites so having your own vehicle is essential (mileage will be paid between sites).

Hours – 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday – Friday with weekend overtime available. We are offering flexible shift patterns so talk to us if a standard 8.30-5 doesn’t work for you.
There are no on call requirements for this role.
Salary - Circa £30k – £35K subject to experience and qualifications £14.42 - £16.82
