The hospital is comprised of two inpatient units, providing specialist care for adults with range of mental health challenges and addictions.
Altrincham also provides established, evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder.
You will be reporting to the Private Business and Therapy Services Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management and clinical delivery of the inpatient therapy team across NHS services within the hospital, while maintaining your own clinical caseload.
In this role, you will provide strong leadership, guidance, and support to a multidisciplinary team of therapy professionals, including psychologists, occupational therapists, therapists, therapy assistants, and other specialist practitioners. You will foster a collaborative, high-performing environment that promotes excellence in patient care, professional development, and service delivery.

Essential:
Registration with the HCPC
An experienced psychotherapist accredited with a recognised body such as BACP, BABCP, or UKCP
You will be able to demonstrate clear, motivational leadership skills, with the capacity to effectively support and guide a diverse therapy team.
