Complex carer (male/female) - Gillingham, Kent
Hours - 24 hours support required
We are hiring experienced Complex care assistants to support a male client with complex medical, sensory and neurodevelopmental needs. we are looking for individuals who are physically fit and comfortable in all outdoor environments.
Key Requirements:
· Experience in complex care and structured, low-arousal support approaches
- PEG care, stoma/granulation management, medication administration
- First Aid and Basic Life Support
- Epilepsy rescue medication (Midazolam)
- Willingness to learn Tactile British sign language / Deafblind communication
- Autism, ADHD, and mental health awareness
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) & PMVA
- Safeguarding Adults, Mental Capacity Act (2005), and DoLS
· Must be local to maintain early shift start times
· Driving licence preferred for service user transportWillingness to learn British Sign Language
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable with pets (dogs and cats) in the home
- Physically fit to support challenging behaviours safely

Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
