Firetrace Ductwork Ltd is the only UK licence holder of supply only non-coated fire rated ductwork, which is manufactured to the CASWELL FIRESAFE® specification. The system was developed and tested in the early 2000’s in accordance with BS476 Part 24 (1987). In recent years, further development and testing has been carried out in accordance with EN1366 Part 1 (2013) to meet European legalisation including CE marking. The product is tested to BS 476-24 (1987) and EN 1366-1 (2013) for up to 4 hours stability and integrity and up to 2 hours insulation for both fire outside the duct and fire inside duct.

Are you a technical expert in fire rated ventilation ductwork? We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between complex fire safety regulations and large-scale commercial HVAC projects. The position is working Monday to Friday, based around a 40 hour week.
This isn't just a sales role; it’s a consultancy-led position where your technical authority on BS 476 and EN 1366 Standards will drive safety and compliance across the whole of the UK.
The Impact You’ll Make:
- Strategic Growth: You’ll identify and secure new business within the Commercial and Industrial HVAC sectors, converting leads into long-term partnerships.
- Technical Authority: You will advise clients on the latest regulations, ensuring every project meets BS 9999, TR19, and DW 172 standards.
- Project Excellence: From reviewing complex drawings to preparing detailed technical submissions, you will ensure total compliance for fire stopping and penetrations.
Who You Are:
- Expert Communicator: You are equally at home on-site with contractors as you are in boardrooms with Principal Contractors and Building Service Consultants.
- Technically Grounded: You have a deep understanding of fire-resistant ducts and the nuances between BS476 and EN1366 standards.
- Qualified: Ideally, you hold an IFE Qualification or are a member of the ASFP.
- Proven Track Record: You have a history of successfully navigating the Ductwork Contractor landscape.
