Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Saturday Pharmacy Team Member to join our pharmacy team. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations, assisting patients, maintance of the pharmacy and ensuring the smooth delivery of healthcare services during weekend hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess relevant experience in pharmacy settings. Responsibilities
- Assist with dispensing medications accurately under supervision, ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols
- Support medication administration processes, including preparing prescriptions and managing stock levels
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to patients, answering queries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient interactions
- Support the pharmacy team in daily tasks to ensure efficient operations during Saturday shifts
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and confidentiality within the pharmacy environment
Requirements
- Previous pharmaceutical knowledge useful
- Ideal for pharmacy university student
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach towards patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekend hours
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous but not essential
- Must be able to commit to Saturday shifts and adhere to all health and safety regulations
