Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the public areas and leisure facilities at Stoke Lodge Hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous cleaning experience to contribute to a professional environment.
7am-11am - option to change hours depending on the needs of the candidate
3-4 days per week - flexible days
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, the bar/lounge, entryway, hallways, changing rooms and leisure facilities to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Replenish supplies such as soap, towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards and confidentiality
- Physically fit to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
