Carters Packaging are seeking a member to join our highly motivated warehouse team to work as a multi drop delivery driver for the summer season
July – September 2026
Main Duties
- Helping to pick your run
- Loading of vehicle
- Vehicle checks and continued adherence to all legislation
- Ensuring all paperwork is appropriately signed, managed and handed in on return to depot.
- End of day – return to depot, unload of non-deliveries and ensure all paperwork is accounted for. Discuss any issues arisen during your day. Help pick for next day.
- Clean and refuel vehicle as required
- You will carry out warehouse duties to assist with picking & loading delivery vehicles.
- When and where required to help with all / any aspects of Carters Packaging operations.
- Understand and respect the Company ethos that the customer is King.
Personal Specification
Must be physically fit: some heavy lifting required. In addition to packaging, we distribute bakers’ flour – most of which is delivered into bakeries “on the shoulder”. This can be strenuous work particularly during peak seasons
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum age 21 - due to insurance restrictions
- Ability to use Satnav
- Full UK Driving Licence - Clean *see link
- Basic DBS check *see link
- CPC licence preferred
- C1 licence preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a small team
- Ability to take responsibility and initiative when working on your own, principally when out driving.
Desirable
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the area
- Some IT Skills
- Forklift licence or experience of site vehicles
- Previous experience of multi drop driving.
