We are an independent local electronic security company based in Bournemouth and have been established for over 20 years, providing repairs, maintenance, installation and monitoring services for intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and intercom systems. The Role
Due to continued business growth, we are recruiting for an Electronic Security Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine servicing, fault finding and small installation works on a varied range of security systems across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, fault finding and small works on Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and Intercom systems.
- Providing and completing paperwork and documentation.
- Keeping detailed accurate records of works completed.
- Effectively communicate with clients and management.
- Maintaining your vehicle and stock levels to ensure client demands are met.
- Ensuring all works are completed to the relevant British & European Standard and workmanship is of high quality.
- Ensuring yourself and colleagues comply with all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in the Fire & Security Industry
- Knowledge of various manufacturers and security systems
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Good IT skills and understanding of networking, IP and IT infrastructure
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- No criminal convictions and complete security screening as a term of employment
- Full UK driving licence
