About the Role:
Birmingham is known for its strong transport links, central UK location, and growing business environment, and at Digitize Bird Solutions Ltd, we bring that same focus to efficient operations, reliable logistics support, and smooth service delivery. We help teams coordinate processes, manage workflows, and keep daily business operations moving with accuracy and consistency.
We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager who can take ownership of daily logistics coordination and operational performance. You are not just tracking shipments; you are helping improve delivery timelines, reduce delays, support supplier communication, and make sure goods, information, and teams move efficiently. You will work closely with operations, warehouse, customer service, administration, and management teams.
Why Work With Us?

Operational Ownership: You will help manage logistics processes, delivery coordination, stock movement, supplier communication, and day to day operational planning.
Practical Business Impact: Your work will help reduce delays, improve service quality, support accurate reporting, and create a better experience for customers and internal teams.
Team Collaboration: You will work with customer service, warehouse support, administration, suppliers, couriers, and management to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Coordination: Manage daily logistics activities, delivery schedules, shipment updates, stock movement, and operational timelines.
Operations Management: Monitor workflow, assign priorities, follow up on pending tasks, and ensure logistics processes are completed accurately and on time.
Supplier and Courier Communication: Coordinate with suppliers, couriers, transport partners, and service providers to resolve delivery and fulfilment concerns.
Inventory Support: Work with warehouse or stock teams to maintain accurate inventory records, reduce discrepancies, and prevent avoidable delays.
Customer Service Support: Assist customer service teams with delivery updates, order issues, complaints, and logistics related enquiries.
Issue Resolution: Investigate delays, damaged goods, missing items, incorrect shipments, and operational problems, then follow through until resolved.
Reporting: Prepare regular updates on delivery performance, logistics issues, stock concerns, supplier activity, and operational improvements.
Process Improvement: Identify recurring problems, recommend better procedures, improve communication flow, and help make logistics operations more efficient.
Team Coordination: Work with internal departments to ensure smooth communication between operations, administration, customer service, and fulfilment teams.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 3 plus years of experience in logistics, operations, supply chain coordination, warehouse support, delivery management, or fulfilment operations.
Logistics Knowledge: Good understanding of shipment tracking, courier coordination, stock movement, delivery timelines, supplier communication, and order fulfilment.
Organisation: You can manage multiple tasks, track deadlines, follow up on issues, and keep accurate operational records.
Problem Solving: You can identify delays, investigate causes, coordinate solutions, and escalate urgent concerns when needed.
Communication: You can communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, couriers, customers, warehouse teams, and internal departments.
Leadership Ability: You can guide workflows, support team coordination, and help maintain a reliable operational standard.
