Job Summary
Wipas Authentic Thai Massage is a premier, dedicated wellness studio in Glasgow. We pride ourselves on delivering genuine, traditional Thai healing therapies in a serene and authentic environment. We are currently looking for a skilled, professional Thai Massage Therapist to join our welcoming team. Please note this is a Part-time position covering Friday and Saturday with potential for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences.
- Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue, and therapeutic massage, to promote relaxation and healing.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the treatment area, including all equipment and supplies.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and self-care practices to enhance their wellness journey.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy certification from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential for motivated candidates willing to learn.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development in massage therapy techniques.
- Right to work in the UK.
