Job Summary
We are looking for ambitious individuals who want to launch a career in software development but have not yet had the chance to prove themselves professionally.
You do not need a degree. You do not need a CV full of experience. You do not need to have worked in tech before. If you have a genuine interest in technology and the drive to learn, this role was built for you.
From day one you will be working on real, live projects alongside experienced developers. Not theory. Not simulations. Actual software being built for actual businesses. By the time you are done you will have contributed to over 3,500 live projects and have a portfolio that speaks for itself.
This is your entry point into a career that has no ceiling.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, testing and maintaining real software applications using JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++ and Ruby on Rails across live client projects.
- Support front end development tasks including user interface design and implementation on active builds.
- Contribute to database management and optimisation using SQL and MySQL on production systems.
- Collaborate with experienced team members to integrate APIs and RESTful services into live applications.
- Use version control systems including Git, GitHub, SVN and Azure DevOps to manage and track your code contributions.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions and troubleshooting alongside senior developers.
- Gain hands on exposure to cloud platforms including AWS and Azure for real world deployment scenarios.
- Assist in documenting software processes and technical specifications that are used by real development teams.
- Work within Agile methodologies and follow professional software development lifecycle standards from day one.
Requirements
- No prior professional experience required. A genuine interest in software development is all we ask for.
- Basic familiarity with any programming language, whether from self study, personal projects, bootcamps or formal education, is an advantage but not essential.
- Any exposure to version control tools like Git or GitHub is desirable but we will teach you from scratch if needed.
- A basic understanding of how databases work is helpful but not a barrier to entry.
- Good problem solving mindset with the ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- An educational background in Computer Science or Software Engineering is welcome but absolutely not required if you can demonstrate curiosity and commitment through self study or personal projects.
