Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise classroom activities for Primary-aged pupils
- Assist learners in engaging with lessons and staying on task
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver tailored support plans
- Potentially provide 1:1 or small group assistance to pupils with additional needs
- Engage learners in classroom and extracurricular activities
- Follow school behaviour management policies to promote a positive learning environment
Requirements:
Essential:
- Experience working or volunteering with children
- Experience supporting learners with additional learning needs
- A proactive work ethic with patience and understanding
- Ability to offer flexible, personalised support
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to supporting inclusive education
