Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, processing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, receipts, and payments
- Credit Control
- Maintain accurate financial records and organise documentation efficiently
- Support the reconciliation of accounts and bank statements
- Help with data entry and updating financial databases
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and summaries
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve discrepancies or queries
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures as required
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant regulations
- Ad-hoc office administrative tasks
Experience
- Qualified by experience or holding a relevant professional qualification.
- Familiarity with Sage 50 and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) is preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
