We are currently looking a Part-Time Care Assistant 22.5 hours a week, 3 days to join our team at Westerley, a reputable residential care home for the elderly. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to elderly residents, assisting with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.
- Monitor and maintain the physical and emotional well-being of residents, including their nutrition and hydration needs.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support residents with medication administration as per the care plan and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Foster a friendly and supportive environment, engaging in conversation and activities with residents to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company policies.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
