Logistics Supervisor – Nights
Salary: £36,199.44 per annum
Shift: 4 on 4 off nights, 6pm–6am
Benefits: 34 days holiday pro rata to shift pattern, enhanced pension, on-site gym
We are looking for a hands-on and driven Logistics Supervisor to join our night shift team.
This is a key role within our Logistics department, ensuring the smooth running of warehouse, stock and despatch operations. You will oversee daily activity, support the team, maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency, and ensure Health & Safety and quality standards are met.
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for supervising the Logistics team and ensuring products are received, stored, picked and despatched accurately and on time.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Managing incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensuring products are stored correctly and stock levels are maintained
- Coordinating and participating in stock counts
- Supporting effective stock rotation and reducing overstock
- Overseeing despatch activity and ensuring orders leave on time
- Ensuring paperwork is accurate and shortages are reported quickly
- Leading, supporting and developing the Logistics team
- Driving operational efficiency, KPIs and process improvements
- Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety, quality and housekeeping
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid to get stuck in.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within FMCG, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A hands-on, results-driven approach
- The ability to lead, motivate and support a team
- A focus on efficiency, accuracy and continuous improvement
- Experience using WMS systems would be desirable
- Knowledge of flowers, plants or fresh products would be an advantage, but is not essential
