Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our customers site. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those looking to develop their skills in commercial cleaning. The position is temporary, with the potential for further work in the future depending on performance and business needs.
The successful candidate will be required to do 2 days training on Thursday 11th June 2026 and Friday 12th June 2026. Normal shifts will then commence on Monday 15th June with the last shift being Friday 26th June.
You will be working directly for Core Contract Services whilst at our customers site. As such, we expect the successful candidate to be professional in their approach and deliver the expected high standards.
Shift times are as follows...
Thursday 11th June - 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Friday 12th June - 11am to 3:45pm
Then from Monday 15th June...

Monday to Thursday - 7:15am to 9am followed by 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Friday - 11am to 3:45pm

Monday to Thursday - 3:30pm to 8:15pm

PAY RATE - £12.71/hr
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, washrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are kept hygienic and presentable
- Dispose of waste materials safely and efficiently in designated bins
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as required
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the shift, adhering to organisational policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties effectively
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
