Caterfood SW LTD is an independently run foodservice business supplying frozen food, catering products, and distribution services across the South West. We pride ourselves on delivering a reliable, high-quality service, and we’re looking for a Warehouse Shunter Driver to support our nightshift operation.
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles on site and between nearby locations, ensuring the warehouse operation runs smoothly and vehicles are ready for loading in line with delivery schedules.
About the Role:
Working as part of the night team, you will manage vehicle movements across the yard and loading areas, ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly to support the picking and loading operation.
This includes safely shunting and manoeuvring vehicles, supporting loading readiness, and completing short-distance movements between company locations locally. You will carry out routine vehicle checks, ensuring safety standards are met at all times and that any issues are reported promptly.
You’ll also work closely with the warehouse team, maintaining clear communication to ensure vehicle availability aligns with operational demand, and supporting a well-organised and controlled yard environment.
About You:
You must hold a valid C1 driving licence and CPC qualification, with experience in commercial driving preferred.
You are confident manoeuvring vehicles in a busy yard or warehouse environment and have a good understanding of vehicle safety checks and safe working practices. Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting would be an advantage.

Pay: Up to £28,558.40 per year
