Pay: £16.00ph + £5 meal allowance | £35,000 – £47,000 inc overtime | Mon–Fri, 40hr guarantee, avg. ~55hrs

We're a 90-year-old family haulier that has hauled Britain's goods since 1934, still family-run, and still investing in the fleet and the people who drive it. The bosses know your name here, and so will your customers.
This is a shunting role built around fixed daily runs between our depots and a set of established customers, some 10 miles up the road, some 40. You'll get to know every site, every loading bay, every contact by name. If you're the kind of driver who takes pride in being the reliable face of the operation rather than a different truck in the yard every week, this is the role for you. Monday to Friday, home every night, no surprises.
No agency drivers have been used here in over six years, and when you're on holiday your vehicle is covered by one of our employed relief drivers or apprentices, not a stranger from an agency.
You'll need a valid C+E licence and CPC. Shunting experience is useful but the right attitude matters more, we want someone methodical, dependable and customer-friendly. Comfortable with digital tacho and a driver app, and confident manoeuvring in tight yards.
