We're looking for friendly, hardworking and reliable Waiting & Bar Staff to join us for a busy season of weddings, private events, festivals and pop-ups across Sussex.
At Feast & Flame, we don't do boring function food. We create incredible wedding feasts, fire-cooked food, festivals and memorable events where great food and great service go hand in hand. We're looking for team members who can bring energy, personality and professionalism to every event.
Our busy season runs through until October, with regular weekend and evening work available throughout the summer and early autumn.
There are also opportunities to work on our street food horsebox, which travels to festivals, pop-ups and private events across Sussex and beyond. If you're happy to get stuck in and enjoy a hard day's work, there's plenty of opportunity for extra hours.
What You'll Be Doing
- Serving food and drinks to guests at weddings and events
- Running food from the kitchen to service areas
- Clearing and resetting tables throughout events
- Assisting behind the bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Helping with event setup and pack-down
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver exceptional events
What We're Looking For
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Experience in weddings, events, restaurants or bars is advantageous
- Friendly, confident and approachable personality
- Ability to stay calm and organised during busy service periods
- Strong work ethic and willingness to muck in wherever needed
- Reliable and punctual
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Must be aged 16 or over
Pay Rates
- Ages 21+ : £14–£16 per hour (depending on experience)
- Ages 18–20 : £12 per hour
- Ages 16–17 : £10 per hour
Transport
Lifts can often be arranged to and from events.
Drivers are particularly welcome and will receive an additional payment when transporting other team members to events.
