Personal Assistant / Support Worker (Part-Time)
A permanent opportunity is available for a Personal Assistant to support a 26-year-old woman with mild, lifelong conditions following a stroke.
The role focuses on supporting the client to achieve an enriching and joyful quality of life, helping her to feel confident, secure, and empowered in her abilities.
No personal care is involved.
The position is based in Bourne. The role will be available from June 2026, with fixed days and times to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Pay: £12.71 per hour (in line with national minimum wage guidelines where applicable)
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check (this can be arranged by the company if needs be)
- Full manual driving licence and willing to get business insurance
- Ability to French braid hair
- Ability to style hair and apply makeup
- Willingness to learn physiotherapy exercises
- Flexibility to provide sickness and holiday cover
- Willingness to learn about lifelong conditions
Desirable Attributes:
- Interest in holistic and spiritual practices
- Interest in nutrition and diet
- Interest in fashion and personal aesthetics
- Interest in musical theatre
- Interest in person-centred counselling (the client is a trainee counsellor)
